HTML   is short form for Hyper Text Markup Language.It is  a computer language that is  devised to allow website creation.It is a protocol which includes 'tags'that are used to encode and format text,graphics and other types of files. These websites can then be viewed by anyone.




JAVASCRIPT

JavaScript  is a  scripting language used in web content development.It is the most broadest and most general term and also can be read by the browser. Other than that it can be used to do things such as open a separate browser window or to display a message when the mouse moves over an object on the page.

An applet is any small program that only does specific tasks.The program is  written in the Java programming language that can be included in an HTML page, much in the same way an image is included in a page

BLOGS  or also can be called as 'weblog' is like a journal explaining what's happening around  peoples life. People get the chance to react,share their opinions and discuss matters through this online journal.







WIKIS




wikis  are websites that show the perpetual collective work of many authors. A wike allows people to edit,delete or modify any content just like a blog.




FTP



FTP  or also can be known as file transfer protocol allows you to transfer files between to computers on the Internet and it is a simple network protocol and also a term used when referring to the process of copying files.


PLUG-IN



PLUG-IN   or also can be known as plug in is a set of software components that add to a larger software application. It also enables customizing a functionality of an application.

FILTERS  are programs that accept  only a certain type of data as an input and it transforms it in a different manner and then outputs the transformed data.It is also a pattern through which data is passed that only data that matches the pattern is allowed to pass through the filter.
